My 1-2-3 Formula To Beat Stress During Christmas

Christmas is coming, and before you know it, you will be bogged down by stress, stress and lots of stress. But don't be afraid so soon! Remember there is always a solution to a problem. In this article, I will tell you how to force stress to beat a hasty retreat from your life, not only just during the Christmas season but forever.

There is a reason why you get so much stressed during the Christmas season; Christmas means giving and receiving gifts, and often, you end up giving more than you take. It is a season where you need to give, give and give. All this adds to your stress level and Christmas seems like a drudgery to you. But it needn't be like this, if you follow some of the tips I discuss in this article!

Self-Discipline Yourself: The number one solution to this problem is to learn to self-discipline yourself. If that sounds like too much of a hard work for you, be assured that it is not. No one said that it is easy to self-discipline oneself either, but if you make the effort, it will surely bear fruits. Below I will give some examples of how to self-discipline yourself.

1. Every day, right after you have finished your dinner, clean the dinner table immediately with a damp cloth. The more you delay in cleaning up the table, the harder the work becomes. Do it early and you will see how easy it is!

2. After you take shower and pat dry your body with the towel, just make sure you squeeze the towel a little bit. Doing so just takes a few minutes, but if you make this a habit, you won't have to wash and clean your towel at all, ever!

There are various little things in your life that you can change and thus, reduce your stress levels. Okay, now let us move on to more ways to beat stress during Christmas.

Shop early: Well, you know that during Christmas, you need to buy gifts for everyone, right? So there is no point in delaying it! The earlier you are done with gift shopping, the better you will feel during Christmas. Don't think that there is any kind of adventure in last minute shopping; there is none. On the contrary, it will add to your stress level. Start gift shopping right from the start of December. Try to collect a few gifts every day!

Clean Your House in Advance: No one said that you have to clean your entire house only on the Xmas day; be assured that it will look like quite a drudgery if you do so. Instead, start cleaning your rooms a month ahead of the D-day; in fact, unless you are a lazy fellow, I'd suggest your clean your rooms every day. You don't need to clean your entire house in a single day; instead, clean one room each day. Then you will see how easy it is to clean the rooms on the Xmas day!

Eat Healthy: With Christmas approaching, it is all to easy to indulge yourself in the cookies and candies that your friends bring to your house. But don't overeat under any circumstances. In case you don't know it, overeating will make you feel stuffed and add to your discomfort. Eat healthily and make sure you get enough sleep at the end of the day.

Now go and prepare yourself to celebrate Christmas with your buddies. It will soon be arriving at your doors, with its jingling bells.
